The Craft Hub is situated on Sanday, one of Orkney's North Isles. We proudly feature handmade art and crafts from over seventy local residents, with each product crafted by our talented island artisans.
Our selection includes a diverse array of knitwear, yarns, pottery, art, photography, glasswork, jewelry, woodwork, leatherwork, and much more. All proceeds from sales go directly to the craftsperson who created the item. Additionally, we have a cosy tea room serving homemade food, cakes, and refreshments; including seasonal specials.
In addition to hosting weekly craft groups like glass fusion/stained glass and a varied Craft Night, we offer a wide range of creative workshops throughout the year.
The Craft Hub is dog friendly so please feel free to bring your four legged friends
with you when you visit.
The Fused Glass/Stained Glass group that meets weekly at The Craft Hub designed and created a memorial wreath for the British Legion Memorial Service in 2023. The wreath will be bought out each year for display at the yearly Memorial Service, and in the meantime it can be viewed in The Heritage Centre here on Sanday as part of their World War One Display.
